Dixon is injured, had an unspecified operation earlier in the season, which is why he never went out on loan.

There’ll probably be more people at the EFC U21s game vs Real Madrid U21s on Wednesday night at Goodison than there has been for any Everton Women’s game at Goodison this season, which kind of speaks volumes about everything I’ve been saying about how poor the marketing of the women’s team has been.

Ticket watch: Park End 2 nearly sold out for the Real Madrid game on Wednesday. So they’ll probably open Park End 3 later today. So far, about 4000 tickets have gone out (STHs taking up the free ticket offer & some sales). So if all ticket holders attend, that should be a decent crowd for U21s
