01.09.2025 14:40 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0If you have been waiting to pick up a new mug or one for the first time, a new batch has been added to my shop (link in profile). Limited colors and quantities, and I will be honest, I do not anticipate another mug drop before the end of the year.
As always, thank you for the support! -Bryan
I work with soft slabs. And this slab was pretty soft.
21.06.2025 18:41 β π 19 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0Oh that would be cool! Iβm hoping to get some cool variations in the glaze Iβll be using. Iβll have to experiment to get some βsparkleβ

Custom tiles. Interested in a custom, expensive backsplash? Reach out to discuss. Working on two right now and while there isnβt much variation finding the process cathartic.

Iβve started to explore different firing processes. This is a piece I put in a salt kiln.

04.05.2025 09:58 β π 8 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Iβm taking the Raku workshop and thought a teapot would be fun. When I make a teapot, I think of one of my first instructors. I said I wanted to make teapot and he told me it was only for the experienced. Donβt let anyone tell you you canβt do something. I ignored him and made a teapot my first week

First batch of handmade tiles out of the kiln and I couldnβt be happier! Minimal warping, good glaze coatingβ¦these are going to look great as a backsplash in my studio.

Not a bad first attempt at throwing and trimming on a kick wheel. I could get into throwing this way.

I canβt remember what colors I have up there right now. I go through them quickly.
No mud, No lotus.
While itβs not the most glamorous of studio tasks, there is something satisfying about reclaiming unfired clay experiments and bits to make something new. I am using reclaimed clay for the majority of my tiles.
Holding a white handmade bowl just taken off the pottery wheel.
Popped into the studio late last night to trim a bowl recently thrown. For a handbuilder, Iβm pretty happy with my wheel skills.

I have been a hand builder in my pottery work for most of the last 15 years. Itβs nice to sit at the wheel and be a βbeginnerβ again.

Iβve been unmotivated to work in my studio, between the cold weather, an exhausting job, and the shit-show world, Iβve not had the energy. I had coffee with a bunch of potter friends yesterday and Iβm grateful to them for our mutual support and encouragement. Keep your community close!
