Did the #Royals just mentally move on to Chicago before the game went final? That was a sloppy fielding game but wow it singlehandedly brought the Marlins back into the game.

The Royals don't get swept and they don't do anything easy. But they're 9-6 in July. They're still not far enough out for the Cubs series to be anything less than important.

20.07.2025 19:45 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Kris Bubic pulled after 66 pitches. Why? Every pitch was down at least 1 MPH compared to his season average, with his fastball averaging nearly 2 MPH below his season average. Bubic's max on the day wasn't even his season average.
Not a great sign at all after the All-Star break.

"It's probably time the correlations list got updated, so here we go! 10 years of MLB seasons (300 team-seasons of data), spanning 22,763 games and over 6.7 million pitches.
This shows the relative impact that various stats have on a team's ability to score runs."
