Rewatch: Underrated. Pacing is off and characters are undeveloped but it crams a lot into the runtime and aligns with the novel. As someone who's read the book more than once, I enjoyed it.
It should've been a 5 episode series, fleshing out characters and building tension between major plot points.

Rewatch: A great addition to one of the best horror franchises, it's full of tributes and tropes but still manages to be an original and entertaining film that I will likely watch again and again. However, I would have preferred a Ridley Scott prometheus/covenant sequel.

I framed that incorrectly... Older adults have much to offer the world in wisdom and experience.
But specifically somebody like him, who thinks only of themselves, seemingly has no interest in consequences, and is making decisions that will echo for decades is absurd.
How is someone with 5-10 years left to live making decisions that will impact the next 3+ generations
