You're quite lucky to have a fandom at all. Here the old TF fandom was mostly killed by bayformers, there are just a few people left and most of them are not very active. And the newer ones almost always only care about one very specific thing and never the whole. Analysis and theories are gone.

They're finally here. Red Swoop was an unpleasant surprise, but, well, it's not like I'm never getting another one.

For whatever reason today I decided it was a good idea to make a Transformers Animation, Plays, Movies and TV iceberg. Still work in progress, so I'm accepting suggestions of what else it might need.

Good news - I'm going to get the TF One artbook in the next two weeks and then scan it just like I did with the WFC Trilogy book. This means the novelization is going to remain the only tie-in media to potentially hide any secrets. Coloring and sticker books are clearly not that important.

I've only discovered yesterday that there are some Transformers stopmotion shorts on Blokees Youtube channel. Sadly, many of them are just trying to reenact existing scenes instead of doing something new, but at least there are fully original ones as well. Still, that's 20 more official stopmotions.

Let me show a Decepticon named Dumbass, one of the characters from 1995 Transformers books. He's very proud of his name since everybody knows what it means. Just like everybody else in those books, he turns into a spaceship. If you want him to think, hit his head 3 times, but there is a time limit.

Let's talk about Transformers and tastes.

In my opinion, the best TF series is Rescue Bots, and it's not even a contest. Other great series: G1, BM, Animated, Cyberverse, RBA, Victory, QTF, BWN.

The ones I really dislike include PW Trilogy, WfC Trilogy, ES and Cybertron.

Prime is overrated.

If you like anime, you can try Masterforce or Victory. Both are connected to other shows, but can still be watched as something stand-alone. Other potential major starting points are Armada, Cybertron (both also originally Japanese series) and EarthSpark (has all flaws of modern Western writing).

Beast Wars can be watched without prior knowledge, and it's great, but some people can't accept early 3D graphics. Car Robots is a more comedic take; Transformers Animated is a very well written and loved series; Cyberverse is generally good, but it takes a while to really get going.

It really depends on what you're looking for and what your tastes are. Since you were inspired by TFOne, Transformers Prime is probably a good starting point. The original 1984 series Transformers (also known as Generation 1) is not bad, but is definitely a product of its time.

I'm one of potentially rare Transformers fans not limiting my experience with the brand, if I haven't read or seen something, it's temporary. Doesn't mean I like everything or have no opinion about things. But I'm absolutely not interested in reading TF fanfiction, got really tired of it early on.
