My early morning balcony view over eastern Marseille. My choice of words to describe what I am seeing is important. A mixture of pale blue skies and grey clouds. The sun’s rise has led to the magnificent glow of light over the distant massifs. The city is waking up and the lights shining through the darkness of the night, emit a similar effect.
