Also, it’s such a sick joke that ICE is here to keep us safe. This was a video of a perfectly safe day in the city - couldn’t feel safer - until a bunch of armed thugs run out of nowhere to start a fight and kidnap random pedestrians, which is one of the most terrifying things I can imagine

The Hetch Hetchy Aqueduct ends at a little shrine just outside of San Francisco, where its waters mix with those of the water monopoly.
My tap-lukewarm opinion is that every city should have something like this; we are absolutely delusional about how long society would last without clean water.
