When progressives take congress, a lot of fixing will be in order. Perhaps a Constitutional convention 2.0? Balance the Supreme Court? Eliminate the Electoral College (a vestige of slavery)? Tax the rich & corps like they have taxed the middle class and poor? Regulate Corporations? etc..

Absolutely. In my previous career I managed a system used by the executives and C-suite at a Fortune-100 to allocate their benefits. While they were laying off workers and telling us we would have to tighten our belts, they awarded themselves massive salary increases, bonuses, stocks. #EatTheRich

I can vouch for this. I am on SNAP. I was early 'retired' just as Covid broke (with a Hobson's choice of an unlivable $500 a month annuity, or a $250,000 lump sum [ with Covid looming and odds of me finding an equal job nil I took the lump sum and paid off my bills]) In 5 years I had 1 interview...

What was going through Trump's head in that moment: "What a loser! Ruined my perfect presentation... They always do this to me. I can't depend on anyone...except my depends. I wonder how much gold will be in my ballroom?"

To make this *really* representative of the administration in general, to the left of the picture out of frame we should see ICE agents stomping on a young Latina mother while her starving American born children and husband holds the useless SNAP card, next to a Senior couple also holding one.

I would only believe her if she went and apologized to everyone she's harangued over the years - starting with that school shooting activist she followed around Washington DC a few years ago....and even then I'd have to see.
