Not to take away from it but the Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was an 85 year old man with health problems at the end of his lifespan. The contingency for his death was already written out and being implemented while he was alive.

Iran hit every single country in the Middle East except Turkey; the attacks on US forces were exceptionally ineffective, missing key assets and producing 0 US casualties. A large portion of Irans missile stock is now depleted and exposed. Even the drone strikes were slow and clunky.

The US and Israel built up an image of a strong and capable Iran when in reality it’s not even a third rate military power and incredibly weak.
