Yes it's the manager's job to select or deselect, and to buy and sell.

When the manager selects a player I see no benefit for our club in doing anything other than offering that player unconditional support for as long as they wear the shirt.

It's an old principle but as valid as ever IMO

Yes of course there are no issues when players are delivering. The way I see it, it's the manager's job to select the players who wear the shirt and it's our job as supportrrs to support whoever wears the shirt. Even selfishly, that's in the best interest of the team and our club.

Hope to see a different culture here with the offline tradition of unconditionally supporting whoever pulls on the shirt for as long as they wear it.
