Still digging out of a deep depression clutter-clusterfuck. Apparently, it started around December 2022 because I just found a nice new coffee grinder I bought then and never took out of the box.
I thought it lasted about a year, but it was at least two. :-(
My house isn't exactly clean since I still have some decluttering to finish when my back doesn't hate me *quite* so much, but the cleaners were here for the first time in two months and it feels SO GOOD.

I'm just glad it reappeared before I finally gave up and bought a new remote. I've been using a remote app on my phone and it kinda sucks, but I so rarely watch TV it hasn't annoyed me enough to replace it.

My TV remote has been missing for like a year. I've looked under every cushion on my couch multiple times. I just reached between the cushions to pull something else out and BAM! There's my remote!

In case anyone cares, it was exactly where I originally thought it was. Where I looked for it twice. Third time's a charm, I guess.

While doing a lot of cleaning and decluttering this weekend, I set the cat carrier on top of a suitcase forgetting how much my weirdo cat loves hanging out in it. Georgie made more of an effort to get up there than he usually makes to get to his dinner!

Buttercup the corgi half-asleep
After dinner, Buttercup acts like a maniac until I ask her if she wants snuggles, at which point she runs to my bed. We snuggle and play until she settles in to sleep.
My dog has trained me to put her down for a nap. 💜
