NEW: The FDA has removed a webpage warning about dangerous therapies claiming to treat autism. It’s part of a series of actions the agency has taken under RFK Jr. to discredit long-established science.

This is the equivalent of, “parachutes have never been proven to prevent death when falling from a flying plane.”

NEGUSE: AG Bondi, that man works for you now, right? The man in that video from J6 yelling 'kill them!' at cops. His name is Jared Wise.

BONDI: He does work for us, yes. I believe he was pardoned

NEGUSE: And you expect hard-working police officers to believe you take law enforcement seriously?

An image we won't soon forget. Attorney General Pam Bondi refused to look at Epstein survivors pictured behind her on the Hill today.

I asked Attorney General Pam Bondi whether she would create a federal-state-local task force to investigate the horrific abuses perpetrated through Jeffrey Epstein's human trafficking ring.

Her prolonged response: *crickets*

@ritholtz.bsky.social I think the US is becoming a shit long term investment, and that the economy will just become even more so an ecosystem of schemes and grifters extracting all they can and producing nothing of value.

@ritholtz.bsky.social I’m a big fan of yours and the MiB pod, and enjoyed this episode. But can I just say I was disappointed you didn’t ask about how the US would fair in the Freedom index. I think it’s so important now - gov stakes in private cos, gutting education, gutting research, brain drain..

Evil or stupid? Both. But sometimes stupid works out in the country’s favor.

150 days of Kavanaugh stops, and it just keeps getting worse Kavanaugh stops would always be bad. As a tool in the Trump administration's authoritarianism arsenal, they are worse. The consequences are everywhere.

It's been 150 days of Kavanaugh stops in America, and it just keeps getting worse, so I checked in with the justice to ask him if he's had second thoughts.

My request for comment did not elicit a response.

I just introduced a major bipartisan bill with Senators Hawley, Blumenthal, and Britt to stop AI companies from preying on our kids with friendship chat bots that push kids to self harm and self loathing.

What we propose is simple: ban friendship chat bots for kids under 18.

Celebrities are getting $2,000 MRI scans to learn about their health. Should you? Celebrities and influencers are helping promote high-tech medical scans that companies claim can help catch deadly diseases, including cancer.

Unfortunately, this is very much a thing for the wealthy and powerful. Def seen it in my hospital system.

I just think this, on its surface is really bad, but when you see the tattoo (it’s not like a fucking swastika) and know his backstory, it’s actually not something we should take him over the coals for. I think to fight the real nazis, we need to not eat our own over the wrong shit.

Sexism, racism, homophobia, etc. for all of their adult lives. Some people may have woken up to these issues later. That’s why they’re called “woke.” Beating real nazis requires accepting people who are late to the cause and may have frankly opposed it before. Sometimes people do change.

I think the GP of that time, and the time of those Reddit posts, was someone totally unfit for office, but I don’t think he was ever a nazi or even close. And I think he’s changed considerably, and is the progressive he claims to be. Unfortunately not everyone has understood the promblems of…

@greenwell.bsky.social I’m in the military and work with young service members all the time. It’s perfectly plausible that GP got this tattoo drunk, with buddies, thinking it was cool, and having no idea what it meant. I would have had no idea if media didn’t point it out, and I doubt others would…

JFC people. What’s more likely, this ardently progressive candidate is a secret naz or he was once a young drunk marine and got a ☠️ tattoo that turns out to be an obscure naz symbol? He’s also owned it and had it tattooed over, because this is a total surprise to him.
