Been trying, and failing pretty badly. Instead I've just been withdrawing from the ones I didn't fit in or felt uncomfortable around, and it's left me all alone to do nothing but people-watch. Sucks, but it is what it is.

That's what I need to hear, because it's not something I've seen much lately. My view of things is very narrow and built around watching a bunch of people that base their VRC time mostly on going to events, raves and more. And I just want to tell myself this isn't some meta I have to follow.

Does anyone else think activity in VRC is becoming too dependent on an event-based or schedule-based culture?

I've had this bit of a nagging thought lately and, to be clear I'm speaking only from my own very limited viewpoint. I'd sorta just like to be proven wrong.

But WOW is working with armatures, or rather transferring data into and combining armatures tedious as hell.

Yeah! I used to read magazines about these when I was a kid, never could afford to get into the hobby but I still love them. Might have to look into this again sometime!

I'd love to see that, honestly. I kinda came up with a bit of a wild trick for myself today which helped, and the more I learn the better!

I did miss those, honestly, but even today I was thinking about doing it and I just wasn't comfortable with the idea. I try to keep my avatar work somewhat private, at least right now.
