When interpreting services aren't managed correctly, it leads to missed appointments, wasted staff time, and re-booking costs. Signalise focuses on "Right First Time" delivery. By streamlining the process and using a community-led model, we save the system money while providing better access.

Inefficiency is expensive. Access shouldn't be.
Did you know that every missed appointment costs the NHS around Β£160? Why pay for mistakes? πΈ
For Deaf patients, the impact is even greater. The issue is rarely the interpreter, but the system used to book them.
Whether you are a Deaf person using our services, an interpreter, or an investor, you are the "Co" in Co-op. By joining, you get a say in how we are run and ensure the community stays at the heart of everything we do. We arenβt complete without you.

A co-op is only as strong as its members.
At Signalise, we do not wait for contracts to build community. We believe that every co-op begins with the people, which is why we build the community first! π€

Imagine a system that actually listens. At Signalise, we put Deaf people first. We are building a platform that is owned by the community, because we believe that if it's not built with us, it isn't for us.

What if the problem isnβt us? What if itβs the system?
We have spent years accepting broken systems. Traditional agencies seem to create the same issues every time.
But it does not have to be this way.

The Department for Business and Tradeβs call for evidence on supporting coβoperative growth closes on Wednesday (18 February). This is your last chance to share any views before they submit their sectorβwide response.
We are working with doctors and hospitals in Cheshire and Merseyside to make sure services are aware of how to book a #BSL interpreter (or other communication professional) and make sure you have full access to your medical appointments.
