I watched the first episode and like ten minutes of the second.

Honestly the worst crime of this show by far is that it's BOOOOOORIIIIIIIING

Anyway I think if we want a live action ATLA show (which i very much do!) I think it should be an entirely new story. Follow Kyoshi perhaps, or a new avatar. Or someone who isnt the avatar but doing their best! The setting is so cool. We dont need to prove that Aang's adventure is better in 2D or 3D

Seeing the early reviews coming out for the new Last Airbender show, I can't think of more damning evidence that sometimes animated is the best way for a show to share its story, and that live action isn't inherently more mature or nuanced or better in general. ATLA failed to get adapted well twice!
