Yes, I am aware that I could’ve easily gone to Lumbridge or literally any other windmill for the flour, but they made it my personal mission to get into that cooking guild to use that windmill.

Only in OSRS would I start out trying to complete a quest by making a redberry pie, then it leads me on a massive sidequest to level up my fishing & cooking to 32 to enter the cooking guild out of pure spite because I wanted 1 piece of flour, and they wouldn’t let me in.

This. Honestly that was my biggest problem with MMO’s back then. Sometimes I still struggle with it with certain games, but with Runescape I have a LOT of things I can be doing, especially thanks to the relatively chill nature of the game. One of the most relaxing casual games I’ve played lately

Finally installed and played OSRS again, and wow, I actually find myself appreciating a lot more about it than I used to initially. I'm still kinda figuring out how to play again, but it's just so charming and simple. I can definitely see myself playing again for sure ^w^

Had the urge lately to try picking up OSRS again, definitely cause of nostalgia and considering the new game came out. Call me an old hat for that, but the simplistic charm of OSRS is really striking.
