Genuinely super stoked for this remaster. Growing up with Half-Life/CS/all of those games, VALVe was the absolute GOAT for me. Really, really looking forward to picking this up.

I’d say replace them with the same if you like how they sound/feel or get something new if you’re up for some change. IMO It’s kind of a good excuse to change it up a bit, but only if you’re feeling it.

That said, I have my Sennheiser 6xx and DT770s and if either died, I’d buy a replacement.

I already owned this, but I still can't say enough good things about Kilohearts. Love their plugins and business model. I have their pitch and frequency shifter on my stream deck and those buttons get used more than I care to admit.

I also sprung for Envy. It's hella expensive, but every time I hit a vocal that I could've used it for, I wished I had it. I've made an approximation of this with some side-chain expansion, but this one definitely has given me some great results.

I have so much fun throwing wormhole on content and just toying with the settings. Definitely a neat tool with a ton of fun output.

Genuinely excited that this seems like (for now, at least) it’ll be the chosen social media platform of devs/creatives. With this recent boom, it kind of feels like showing up at a convention and seeing all of my friends that I haven’t seen in a bit.
