The Rt Revd Dame Sarah Mullally to become 106th Archbishop of Canterbury - Diocese of Leeds His Majesty The King has approved the nomination of the Bishop of London, the Rt Revd and Rt Hon Dame Sarah Mullally, as the next Archbishop of Canterbury, Downing Street has announced.

I’m truly delighted by Bishop Sarah’s appointment as the 106th Archbishop of Canterbury, and pray that she may know the riches of God’s grace as she follows the call of Jesus. #CofE

Bishop Malcolm ordained and consecrated as new Bishop of Wakefield - Diocese of Leeds The Rt Revd Malcolm Chamberlain was ordained and consecrated on Wednesday, June 11, the feast day of Barnabas, and will take up his role as Bishop of Wakefield shortly.

A wonderful day that I will always remember.
