One of the sickest things about Adol Christin in Ys is how being an adventurer is just his thing.

He always accidentally (or by fate) ends up in wacky situations, so the games can just GET GOING.

I’ve played a ton of Ys games, I should know what I’m getting into by now.

Yet, a few hours into Ys X and I still can’t believe just HOW GOOD these games are. Despite being surprised every single time I play one.

Played Citizen Sleeper 2.

Was SO excited to hear the sequel dropped. Just some good old dice rolling, text reading fun with some fantastic art.

On one playthrough, it was tough to see how much my decisions *really* mattered, but honestly I was here for narrative and grinding resources. Real good.

I really appreciate being able to pick the handful of combos I think look coolest instead of being locked into a couple NECESSARY ones.

Played Battlefield 6.

Nice and short campaign, easy enough to beat over a weekend. The star is definitely the MP, but I still really like to see games with flesged out campaigns. Even if they err a little on the nonsensical side.

Was fun but honestly I could not tell you what happened.

It’s unreal that I got to play Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Death Stranding 2, The Alters, and Ghost of Yotei all in the same year.

2025 an UNBELIEVABLE year for gaming.

HAD to get the platinum I could not get enough of it. Such a wonderful, beautiful, engaging and most of all FUN game.
