the tech demo absolutely blew me away, honestly imo its almost worth upgrading my setup for this game alone 😂

Honorable mentions:
Sadly encountered game-breaking bugs in both games, but conceptually promising games:

Fire in the dark:
Premise of going in and out of a videogame, slightly reminiscent of Slender the eight pages!

Sanity Loops:
A Fears to Fathom type of game in a food truck!

Tormented Souls 2
Survival horror game that wears its inspirations on its sleeve, the changing camera angles are not for me personally, but if you enjoy that type of gameplay this game does survival horror quite well. A few janky enemies, but has a lot of potential!

MEGANAUT
From the creator of Lorn's Lure, this megalophobia inducing exploration game has a lot of potential and really nails the atmosphere of a abandoned megastructure in space. I'm really looking forward to seeing the full release.

THEM
Castlevania platformer meets 1st person horror, this game seems really polished and I'm very curious to see what the full release has in store. The full game comes out this week so definitely keep an eye out for it!

HLÍNA
Really cool art style made of handmade clay that works well with the top down gameplay. Sadly an incredibly short demo <5min and the full game would need MUCH more content to justify playing it. I do love the vision however and hope the full release turns out great!

One-Eyed Likho:
This game features an incredibly unique art style which pairs perfectly with the slavic fairytale story that the game tries to tell. The demo makes me think we will also see horror takes on other mythologies and I am excited to see what it has in store upon full release!

GiggleLand a.k.a Terry's Vegetable Patch :
The newest mascot horror/ARG to grace the indie horror community, the demo was scary and interesting enough that I would want to check out the full game upon release! Some areas dragged a little, but hopefully the full game has a more compact structure.

Just finished playing the #indiehorrorgame demos I found interesting in Steam NextFest.

To save you some time, here are my thoughts on them so you can see if you want to play them yourself when they release!
