Not to say I wouldn't draw this right now if someone wanted a comm, I just mean I want to do more than JUST "character in a void doing a pose". I feel like I've mastered this. I need something to push myself more. And I can do void-posing whenever I want to draw something simple

Tbh I'm kinda bored drawing characters in a void doing a pose... I want to draw more interesting compositions, more of characters doing something or interacting with others/their environment... I need to start small so I can get to that point. Big part of why I haven't drawn much recently...

Video games are my biggest hobby other than art so most of my friends growing up were boys, I'm glad I wasn't really excluded just for being a girl when it came to this sort of things, except in that instance that I can recall

This reminded me of when I was about 8, I saw some boys at a table at school playing Pokemon Emerald and I was like 👀 and they were like "back off! This is a game for boys!" but like I had already caught Rayquaza by that point...

There was also a Spyro, if you recall, but he's being reprinted because his colors didn't come out quite right. Eventually he'll get to join the lineup too :)
