Day 3: Stakes high. One fish tagged, full receiver grid deployed. Then a local tip + some luck = fishing BONANZA 🎣 14 char tagged in no time! (4/5)

Day 2: Perfect weather ☀️ Deployed receivers in the lake #Finsevatn, Checked traps… zero fish. Fished all evening… still nothing. The pressure was on. (3/5)

PhD candidate Jessica Robichaud at Cooke lab at @carleton.ca is visiting us for a month to help with field work. Today, she presented her work for our lab. She is using acoustic telemetry to track permit in the Florida keys! So interesting to see some of her findings! 🐟
