The core tenets of the Unrig Washington campaign are based on three key reforms we know voters are demanding:

The distrust is real, and it didn't come from nowhere. But compassion can't be conditional. Sometimes sitting down with and listening to our neighbors feels like the hardest work. But when we listen to others and care about their problems, we create the opportunity to change their hearts and minds.

Not to mention, when a farmer loses a farm, it often means a family loses their home. A rural community loses access to fresh produce, jobs dry up, and local businesses feel the hit. The ripple effects spread through the economy.

I get where you're coming from. But when farmers go under, it's not just their problem, it's all of ours. If our farms collapse, our whole food system is put at risk. No matter who they voted for, I believe we've got to show up with compassion and support.

When the breadbasket of America suffers, so does our supply chain, our food security, and our economy. We need real relief and a stronger Farm Bill.

Thank you for lifting this up. Families in our district and across the country deserve real action — not tight lips and disappearing acts from Speaker Johnson. I’m ready to make sure working-class Louisianans are heard.
