On August 18th , 1920 the 19th amendment granted women the right to vote. However, women of color were still not allowed to vote for decades to come.

Today marks 105 years since the 19th Amendment was ratified, granting women the right to vote. Today we honor this history, while acknowledging that the promise of equal voting rights is still under threat. We must continue to use our voices, speak up in the face of injustice, and protect democracy!
