44. Resident Evil Requiem - Evil Has Always Had a Name: Short Film (2026)
Literally better than every live action RE movie combined. It's literally just a glorified commercial but it made me actually pretty sad in the span of just three minutes. Good on them.

43. The Wild Robot (2024)
I underestimated just how good this one was gonna be- Not only does it have incredible animation and writing- I really, genuinely, felt like I cared throughout the whole thing. What a good movie, man- And with a fantastic ending as the cherry on top.

42. Final Fantasy VIII (1999)
I was on and off this one but I finally got it done. I think there's a lot of interesting ideas here but with flawed executions. I like the story and cast, but don't love all of its gameplay decisions. Ultimately, still a good game, and pretty interesting to look at.

41. Evil Dead Rise (2023)
Very different from the rest of the series because this one doesn't actually follow Ash Williams- Meaning it goes in a much more horror-focused direction. Personally, I don't like it as much as the Ash movies, but I still liked it a lot all the same, especially the effects.

40. Final Destination: Bloodlines (2025)
I was this close to genuinely loving this movie, it has some great characters who you end up genuinely caring about- But the ending completely ruins it. It's just kind of a shitty way to end things after all the crap the characters went through.

39. Death Whisperer 3 (2025)
This one feels wholly unnecessary. While the first two are a great duology of films, this is just decent. I didn't feel the need to see an explanation or backstory behind the evil spirit, and while I do like the action, none of it really justifies the plot in my eyes.

38. Death Whisperer 2 (2024)
While I prefer the first one because it takes a lot less time to kick into gear and I enjoy the family horror story a lot more, I think this is a worthy sequel that wraps up the original plotline nicely, even if I was initially disoriented by the focus on action.

37. Action Comics #13 (1938)
In this issue, Superman fights a cab racketeering scheme. Again, a bizarre read as someone whose experience with Superman is largely modern stuff. This is what he was back then, it's interesting to even think about.

Guys, dont immediately jump ship. Complain on Discords forums. Spam their emails. Make noise. We'll never tackle the overlying problem if we just keep jumping ship.

Discord is easy to bully out of doing shit. We've made them stop doing NFT shit. We can stop them taking ID's. :)

Honestly I could do either version of RE4, lol. Both are amazing.

36. Action Comics #8 (1938)
Superman destroys a bunch of slums! Again, this one was an interesting read because of how different things are- Superman takes a course of action that would today be considered unorthodox to combat a problem you wouldn't expect of a Superman story today. Intriguing.

If you could only play 10 games for the rest of your life, which 10 would you pick?

Final Fantasy VII
Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix
Resident Evil 4
Chrono Trigger
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth
Devil May Cry 5
Final Fantasy IX
Dark Souls
Digimon Story: Time Stranger

35. Action Comics #1 (1938)
Read this for a university thing, and found it pretty interesting. Superman here isn't all that much like how he is today, which makes sense given that this was his first outing. It's not outstanding, but it is a fascinating piece of comic book history.

34. Yusuke VS Ichigo - DEATH BATTLE (2026)
It was... Kind of just okay. The action felt so limp and Yusuke's character wasn't up to standard. I don't care about Ichigo- Fans can determine how they felt about that, but there were some moments I liked. Overall an OK ep I'll eventually forget exists.

Lowkey Cowboy Bebop vibes are very nice. I liked Ryan Gosling in this one. I liked him a lot. But damn, it is a long ride so it took a while to get around to. And why the fuck was Jared Leto here, bro...

31. Independence Day (1996)
Before MiB there was two hours of shitty Will Smith. This was ridiculously poorly paced, with so much shit that felt like filler and half the time I completely lost any desire to pay attention. By the end I could only be glad it was over because it was an abject slog.

I hear it's Tifa Tuesday? Here's a sticker sheet I did to celebrate the release of Rebirth. Given how much everyone likes my Tifa stuff, I'm gonna dust this one off and give it a little refresh for later this year. ๐Ÿ˜Šโœจ

30. Men in Black III (2012)
This is the best of the trilogy. Watched it with the squad again and had a great time- It's funny, it's engaging, it's got the best characterization of the trilogy, it's even emotional. Nice comeback after the second one.

Not as good as the first one. Not very good at all, actually, although it is funny that Agent K potentially fucked an alien.

Watched this classic for the first time with @nikoventura.bsky.social and @kazugito.bsky.social while on a Discord call. It was pretty good. Solid start to the trilogy.

The modern version of FFVII is coming to Steam now. Hoping the mods still work for it because the New Threat difficulty rebalances are so damn good and have really pushed further the meticulousness of character builds in the game.

Ftr FF7 is my favorite game of all time so it's incredibly often that it's the game I'm currently playing.

My brother's been playing the RE1 Remake (a game I love, so I will admit my hypocrisy where it's due) recently and struggling with the controls. For as amazing as some old games are at almost everything, age is a very real thing and can definitely take its toll on a lot of legacy media.

I could not get into this one. I understand completely why it's so beloved and considered a classic, but this is a game that has aged and shows its age. The controls and jank were too much for me to properly enjoy MGS1.

Day 8

My favorite cutscene is when the random Shinra soldier removes his helmet and reveals himself to be the real Cloud in FF7. Absolutely iconic.
