I used a Chrome extension called Sky Follower Bridge to find out my contacts of followers in X who are in BlueSky and follow them there. Once I did that, I said adios, X! It's fairly easy to disable. After 30 days, your account and data gets deleted, unless the Muskie is pissing on it.

Not surprised. They are walking a fine line of how the organization is perceived both internally and externally, coupled with declining membership due to demographics. If they plan to be around another 15+ years, they have to do something.
