The UN Charter is a publicly available, easily accessible document. A simple search makes it abundantly clear that the US-Israeli strikes on Iran are an illegal act of aggression.

Yet the word “illegal” does not show up in the headlines or even in the body text of most articles.

Some thoughts on the US men’s hockey drama because this is a strange intersection of things I pay attention to (hockey/politics):

Being drunk isn’t an excuse (who even knows if they were). In fact, I’m more likely to tell Trump he can fuck right off if I’m drunk, not laugh at his sexist comments.

It is a genocide. I trust the world’s leading human rights organizations more than whatever your supposed research is.

I don’t necessarily disagree, but I also think it’s a bit silly the obsession people have with blaming the left when the Dems could have simply not supported a genocide and possibly won the election.

I can sympathize with the frustration, but I find the sentiment somewhat concerning.

Ya know, if Kash Patel’s FBI wasn’t assisting immigration enforcement, compiling lists of dissidents and labeling them terrorists, firing veteran officers for criticizing Trump, allowing Epstein list predators to run free, and his Olympic trip wasn’t paid for by our tax dollars, I’d say go off king.

The whole idea of “we didn’t want to distract from our wins” feels a bit silly when there’s now multiple stories about them not releasing the autopsy.

I expect Gaza is just one of many things they didn’t want to put out because it would mean they actually need to focus on affordability and human rights.

That requires effort and moral standards, likely casting off corporate strategy for one built around the working class (at least in part).
