It’s easy to make decisions when there are obvious good and bad choices. Sometimes you are in the position of having to choose which choice is the least distasteful. This was always a shit sandwich.

Here’s the situation as I see it. We have a Republican House, Senate, SCOTUS and a fascist president. The majority party will do nothing to upset the fascist. None of them care how much they hurt the citizens You’re in a crappy position to begin with and it is hard to see how

I know. I’m not happy. But being in the minority, having a hostile SCOTUS and White House puts you in a lousy position to start with. Doubly so when the majority party doesn’t care. So, what are the good options.

I have a question. What was the path for any other resolution? The real problem is that we have a Republican House and Senate. And we can thank Republican voters and non-voters for that.

I think the Republicans will have the vote. They will vote it down.

The truth is we will get the same result if the shutdown goes on. I don’t know what the best answer is. It seems like we have a choice between two shitty results.

Of course Judge Winebox won't act on these guys. But we did have two deputies in my county get convicted for perjury when they told the judge an obvious lie under oath in an evidentiary hearing.

I've been on a jury. That is the type of thing that pisses jurors off. Then they take it out on the offending party for insulting their intelligence.

I suspected this would be the result when the officer testified to an "exploding" sandwich. The video showed that was an obvious lie. Things like that insults the jury. And they tend to take the insult out on the offending party.
