I have my copy ready to read this weekend. It's the first time ever buying a sub for the megazine, but why not. I can remember the first one, I just stuck with 2000AD back then.

Played Borderlands 4 last night (PC). Ah, it took me back to the days of BL 2. A good mix of lunacy, run, gun and loot, creatures that spit acid, and shields that drop Shield and Health Pods when you get hit.

A lot better than Borderlands 3, which is just dull.

I can recommend it for a bit of fun.

Certain folk ignoring cost-saving advice, ie in engineering 'why do we need another team to build X, when we have teams already that can fit that work in'. It's a fight, normally.

And, handing project work over to 3rd parties as the 'budget is approved' without thinking it can be built within.

Feel free to talk to me, I've helped someone this morning with dark thoughts.

Here's something not many folks know. In the mid 1990's, I started to put together a gaming (TTRPG) magazine called 'After Reality' - I had painted cover artwork, lay-out and a couple of writers, it was exciting then I got prices to print it and... kept my day job!

Gamma World was one of those games that always kept me coming back into a local FLGS when growing up. I never did buy it, I got hooked on Traveller, Elric, Call of Cthulhu and RuneQuest, MERP/Rolemaster and every other RPG from about 1985!

Gotta love meds when the side effect can be worse than what ailment you have.

The Legendary release was an excuse for me to play all the games again. My favourite of the three is ME2. That's where things really get solid story-wise and character-wise, and setup for an excellent ME3.

Please also protect the Civil Service (though please change it) and allow us to remove contractors that make sense, and weed out the bigger contract agencies that 'run' things to fund their own businesses.

Also, please enforce fiscal responsibility within the CS.

I myself question the quality of that range of sweets.

It's true with other games, I'm playing (again) Horizon: Zero Dawn and there's a point where you have to 'quickly leave', I didn't, I took it at a stroll and fought the guards that I was being told to 'run' past. I always take it easy if the game wants you to run.

I found the PF2 beginner box, very unwhelming - it didn't help it followed on from the most excellent Warhammer FRPG starter box, so the bar was very very high.

P1 (a major event), in the family last night, brother-in-law in surgery for 6 hours.

It's been a heavy week at work, so I was looking forward to the Furnace RPG event, but instead we're down the A1.

I moved 3 from the main bathroom on Wednesday night, no idea where they came from, but one wrestled with me when I tried to grab it.

You know the game best.....

My father-in-law sat atop his mobility scooter which has been modified to look like a Lambretta scooter from his youth.

This is my father-in-law. He was in the local Fenland papers back in 2022.

"A former Mod has converted his mobility scooter to make his own version of the Llambretta he could not afford in his youth."

Decided to put a complaint in, me like a stupid person following the signs only to stand outside a toilet I'd previously used that now said 'Women' on it, and me at a loss to trust any other sign. Doubt I'll get anywhere, but it needs doing.

Double-digits! Where does the time go!

Yep, and every single toilet is in a cubicle, so unless you pass them in the small hallway (each cubicle has a sink) you have ZERO idea who else is in that toilet block.

We're also looking to be losing Neurodivergent folk, as they've implemented a 'performance' system which is causing a lot of stress. I lost two people to this over the year, it's happening again now (we have 1 month to prove how good we are) and I suspect I'll lose more, all going to GDS.

I was down in London yesterday, just taken aback, still shocked to be honest.

That's what my brain is telling me I saw, could have been 'Men' but I was shocked that a previous block of toilets now had a 'Women' sign on the door (printed), even though all signs still show Men/Women/Disabled. Knee-jerk reaction.

And seeing that post about Michigan, it's like a trans person is the modern equivalent of a leper.

Very disappointing yesterday. I was in our swanky new government offices, which were opened a year ago with genderless toilets.

No longer is that true; they've been resigned on the door with 'Women' and 'Males'.

Nno other sign changes, FFS, it's like we're being invaded. #Transarehumans

Not a fan of the art style for the recent GitS TV series, but give me access to playing it on the tabletop and the art doesn't matter too much.
