This is the Polka dot wasp #moth #Syntomeida epilais, also known as the #Oleander moth (on which its yellow caterpillars with their long black setae feed voraciously). Completed for the National Trust of #Montserrat, & UKOTCF. It's used in a colouring book, in a section about patterns in nature.

For context, the iPad was about 7 years old, and the new OS was likely a bridge too far.

What a month. 0 sales, plus I updated the OS on my iPad and it kept crashing so much that I had to buy a new one. I am very, very lucky that slowly drawing bugs is merely a hobby.

Thanks for the tag - I definitely think I'm going to need to crowdfund my book when it's ready, but that's many years away.

Somewhat amusing that my only sale this month had to be cancelled when they realised what I sell is a print, rather than an actual insect. Bonus points for realism, I guess.
