As above, an untrue claim regarding RNLI at Hoylake, who have long confirmed that their access is not hindered by the salt meadow. It’s a misrepresentation to say Greens are trying to obstruct.

It has formed due to the rising level of the beach and is a natural development, meaning the edge of the beach has expanded but moved outwards, so access is needed.

Once tidal mudflats and dangerous tidal gullies, Hoylake Beach is now several square miles of open and safe sandy beach with a narrow band of irreplaceable and highly protected embryo dune and Atlantic Salt Meadow. This meadow catches wind blown sand and stops it inundating the road.
