I drove up stage 11's last climb, the Côte de Saint-Pech, yesterday. The first 250 metres are a brutal wall of so-so tarmac after a tight left turn (slowing down the bunch) and it drags on after that.

Perfect springboard for an attacker - or punchy Pogačar.

I've checked some facts and sorry to shatter the myth, but Ben Healy has never gone to art school.
