Isn't imposter syndrome wild? I was brave and switched job fields, worked hard to get a dream job. Then there were layoffs. I knew I was good at this job, was assured by my team lead, colleagues, department lead and CEO. Even got it in writing. And yet the thought remains, "I am not good enough"

I miss Twitter sometimes. While I personally think Bsky is the best alternative, engagement here never reached what it reached on Twitter. I miss the connections I made and strengthened over there. And frankly, being out of the loop when it comes to gossip is a blessing and a curse at the same time.

Once, I was shamed for using an AI image in a post for my stream team. The person treated me like I was Satan herself. All I did was get a photo of a stock photo database that I pay for and not notice it was an AI picture. Sure now I double-check more, but I did not need to be treated like that.

I do see the dangers and negative sides of AI replacing creative work, but people really need to calm the fuck down with the accusations. I see writers being shit on for using em dashes, or artists like María Gómez (@maregeart on insta) accused of creating with AI and it is so annoying.

Not to yuck anyone's yum, but in surprised it even got a second season.

Honestly, 2025 has been miserable for the most part. My mental health hit an all-time low. One thing that helped me feel a lot better, was dialling back my own streams and content in order to strengthen the @ceosofscreams.bsky.social. I could not imagine being any prouder of this team.

This week, I finally changed my name on most Social Media platforms. I was CptnSumi for many years, but wanted to change it for many months. Short & clean was it supposed to be. I needed Sumi to be the first part of the name. I'm now Sumimee, but you can still call me Sumi. ♥

I almost do not want to say it out loud, but I have been invited to the second of a 3-step interview in a really cool company, for a really cool job. 👉👈🥹
