Our response to the growth of anti-migrant sentiment At The Robertson Trust, we believe in a fair and compassionate Scotland where everyone is valued and able to flourish.

The Robertson Trust has acted in response to rising anti‑migrant sentiment, increased hostility in public discourse, and the resulting harm experienced by migrants and racially minoritised communities across Scotland.

"In the university’s records, I remained a student of Professor Prominent. The junior faculty member who actually did the work of commenting meaningfully on my dissertation was relegated to 'committee member.' Her only reward was having to write letters of recommendation for me for years to come."

There's a point in this where he is clearly trying to argue that married women should not have finances independent of their husbands and also that they shouldn't be allowed to get divorced and you do basically realise this is a war against all of modernity, but particularly women.

There has been a remarkable radicalisation of *elite* political and media discourse on mass deportations and remigration.

This is based on an elite perception (+ misperception) of what the public want.

Media and political elites have not spotted how skewed their perception of what the public is

The two things can't be separated.

What can be separated is you with Β£30 for the hardback, or absolutely no money at all for the open access version of a book on the subject.
