we learned that a decade ago,

we also learned that what we were
told about the closure of the tavi-
stock clinic, the only youth clinic
in the u.k. for gender-affirmative
care, was nothing but lies.
rowling's pal hilary cass
forced the clinic to close after
reports of 1000 complaints from
families. we learned this week
that it only received eight over
10 years, mostly about delays.
in the meantime, the health dep't
has been concealing trans
children suicide numbers, which
we now know rose dramatically
following the closure.
The terrible idea was always to scapegoat trans kids.
We owe it to these kids to keep fighting for truth to prevail.
