The problem, then, is inherent in the application of the technology and the closed shop nature of PGMOLs use of it. That every team believes they are penalised unfairly is just football, used to happen when it was just 3 pairs of eyes in real time. #LFC #YNWA

I can point to VVDs penalty incident, clearly outside the box, or the disallowed goal yesterday, clearly ignoring the rules around offside players interfering with play, and claim bias against Liverpool, but every fan-base can point to similar incidents #LFC #YNWA

No premiership game now passes without some controversy around refs or VAR, it’s either blatant disregard for the rules, or more often, a subjective interpretation of an incident that favours one team or other, the perception of bias is inevitable and constant. #LFC #YNWA
