Wifey has NewsNation on cos she likes Chris Cuomo. But a lot of nights Leland's show feels like Fox News Lite. And she falls asleep with the TV on so we have Cuomo, Vittert and Banfield on a loop. All night :(

While this seems like good news, please let's not get complacent.

There is a way out. But MAGAs don't want to do it. Majority leader Thune can simply get his caucus to change the Senate rules to make it a simple majority rather than a 60 vote one. Then they can pass whatever spending bill they want.

Yet those same MAGA Senators won't do the same to pass a resolution to keep the government open. It's in their power to do so.

We know where their priorities lie and it's not in service to the American people.

Would it be true that "emergency Medicaid" reimburses hospitals for anyone, not just undocumented? I'm not 100% clear how it works. And wouldn't it be a state by state thing?

If the MAGA party didn't really want to shut down the government, the 53 MAGA Senators could change the Senate rules, pass what they want and the government stays "open".

Either the MAGA Senators want to keep the 60 vote rule or they want to do political posturing. Maybe both.

He's however tied to Nexstar. The media conglomerate that decided it should preempt Jimmy Kimmel.

Sirius XM have two main stations for classic rock. Classic Vinyl for the 60s and 70s. Classic Rewind for 70s and 80s and a bit of 90s.

Plus a good classic is timeless IMO.

Then please feel some pity for those in the EDM scene. Dance music from the 1990s is "classic". But thankfully house, hip-hop and such from the 1970s and 1980s is just called Old School... And Disco is erm... Disco.

So yeah, I feel they have lurched rightwards. 4/4

My biggest bug bear is Leland Vittert. Yes he's ex Fox News but the guy doesn't seem to have checked out of Fox News. His show seems so Fox Lite to me. 3/4

Chris Cuomo - when Israel had their air raids into Iran - I did not hear anything from the Iranian side on his show. Very pro Israel. When it's Israel and Palestinian issues the Palestinian voice is absent. It's OK to be a supporter of Israel. As a news anchor of a balanced network... 2/4

It is interesting to note that Carrol O'Connor and Warren Mitchell (who played Archie Bunker and Alf Garnett in All in the Family and Til Death Do Us Part) were both liberal (Warren way left of liberal) in their political views ... Archie and Alf were staunch conservatives.

My personal take is this: Trump is lying unless verified otherwise. Kinda opposite of "trust but verify".

I don't know enough about the satellite stations not Channel 5.... I suspect that they did not close to an anthem.
