This year was rough at times but I am greatly looking forward to next year. Starting properly casting this year has truly been amazing and I hope to continue the momentum I've built going forward in the upcoming RLCS season, but for now, time to celebrate with family!

In April I attended my first in-person Pokémon VGC event, that being EUIC finishing with a 2-7 record which isn't terrible for my first event.
9 months of grinding later, in January next year, it's time to prove if I can hold up (we are aiming for 3 wins this time).

Im usually sitting in 1700 2s (dropped 8 games trying out my new sens back to high 1600) but my 3s is like 1300 because of how little I play it😂

I hope it stops snowing like this because if this keeps up I worry I'm going to get stuck at work by the time I leave at 10pm 😭

Ranked 3s Solo q is a special kind of torture because there is literally 0 consistency in skill due to having 1400's and 2ks all in the same rank range.
2s is painful, sure (I hate it when everyone's mechanics are 10x that of my own in my own rank) but you can still feel the skill scaling properly.

Before work I don't wanna tilt myself in ranked and setup a bad mood for work, after work I'm too tired to play ranked so I'm grinding a few hours of freeplay before and after for a while to see if I can finally get a grip of the mechanics even Champ 3s seem to be hitting that my GC3 ass cannot 😂

I personally don't think it'll discourage them at all. Most EU teams going to SSA do it not for the money, but the aim of the Major Spot. Most of them would probably be happy going into the Red in terms of spending just for the chance to compete on that stage.
