do you think it'd lessen the chance of that happening if the ssd was installed well after the pc was built and windows installed?

it wouldnt surprise me if windows was fucky and threw some shit in there with updates or something but i figured id ask anyway

right now i've got a 1tb ssd in my pc that is basically just extra storage i could clean out, no prob.

i just also have zero idea what im doing but need to learn eventually lmao so this is the best way i can think of without limiting myself w/ everything else i still need my pc for

with win10 support gone, ill eventually get around to setting it up for the extended support workaround, but thats only a temp fix and i planned on learning more about linux anyway, so should i just go for it now and bite the learning bullet? mostly bc i dont have a second pc for that purpose 2/2
