i haven’t actually gotten to play yet bc i have to be responsible :( but SOON

god metroid dread was so good. i picked up prime remastered and it was phenomenal, so i've been really looking forward to prime 4. I think I should count myself lucky I've only really gotten into the series recently-ish... otherwise that near-9-year-wait from reveal to release might have killed me 😬

Personally I find I enjoy games a lot more on proper hardware than through emulation, but that's more a personal thing.

Though, if you do get it on the Switch 1, you'll be able to move over saves and stuff if you end up getting a Switch 2 down the line, which would probably be nice

It is on Switch 1 as well! From what I've heard, it plays great there too. You only suffer some resolution and performance downgrades as far as I know... and you can always upgrade to the Switch 2 Edition once you get your hands on one

I pretty much always build out from the main end island to get some early before fighting the dragon if I'm on a server and the other people don't mind

Fighting the dragon should be a group event but man I want my shulkers and elytra for building stuff!!!

I like to build big so I really feel like I need my tools and all prepped so I can just focus on gathering and building… It’s just more efficient.

Way better to gather tons of stone or wood if I have the tools for it

Get my finalised pickaxe and armour and only then do i start making my base. my starter base is a collection of chests. sometimes in a hole if i’m feeling it.

yes that means going straight to enchanted netherite before i even have a house. i just cant help it
