So many people just don't appreciate the process, all the work that goes into each piece of art. I have no idea how to change the perception that art just happens by magic.

Ireland declaring a permanent universal basic income for artists is the validation creators need — how VITAL our work is. The monetary, cultural, & intrinsic value of art is palpable. THIS is reputable proof of that. How much better would societies run if EVERYONE had a UBI?! It’d be life-changing.

Especially as the tech conglomerates want to remove artists from the equation.

Something that’s always bothered me about animation is that once a project is finished, it’s only the actors that get to do interviews about it.

Why don’t the artists who made the film get to be interviewed and talk about the process, answering questions about what made the film special, etc?
