So I watched it and yeah she basically said she felt bad for the hate he got and that may have contributed to her staying longer with him than she would have. Ashley kind of implied Kat and Rylie's beliefs didn't align and that may have contributed to the breakup. I think people throw around the word narcissist too freely. It's a real mental illness that makes someone incapable of understanding things beyond themselves. So I don't know Colton well enough to diagnose anything or shouldn't anyway. But he definitely gave very self-centered, lack of self-awareness and that can be just as scary.

You cannot demand empathy or sympathy when showing a lack of it yourself. It gave very feel bad for me, forget what I have done vibes. Hated it. #bbmidnightsecret

1 actually believe him. When I got a message about the tweet, I was also curious how someone can have their account hacked for who knows how long and not notice. Apparently some hackers are like parasites. They hang out on the account doing nefarious things from the shadows. Small things, like following random accounts, messaging people but deleting the threads and telling people to message them from a different account (you be surprised how many people fall for that), collecting info and data. Monitoring conversations, etc.

It's easier when someone isn't fully aware of their account activities. He follows a lot of people so may miss some random follows, especially if it's not someone he interacts with often. Instagram often only shows the people you engage with most. Now the timing is suspicious but maybe he was finally catching on to someone using his account without his knowledge and permission. Maybe that person panic deleted. Maybe the hacker just intended to scam some fans, maybe collecting info and data to use later, who knows. Maybe IG flagged his account for suspicious behavior. Then determined it should be deleted without a conversation about it. He could have gotten a random email alerting him it was deleted.

I don't think it was an enemy aka a hater. I think he probably just doesn't have much security, and his login info ended up on the dark web. If it was a hater, I feel like they would have done a lot worse. When he announced it now is because - tiny little bit of Brit's podcast info - Kat contacted him Wednesday about his account. I think maybe she told him people were wondering. So he knew he had to address it. Or maybe he has been trying to fix it for days quietly. Maybe he thought it be resolved by now and he could address it then. Then realize it may be longer. He could have also realized announcing it online may kick meta into proactive mode and help him. Who knows.

I really think he was hacked (and others in the reality tv space may be as well if his hacker was sending a virus via his account without his knowledge), and the timing was just a wild coincidence.

Did you see Tucker said on Twitter that his Instagram and Facebook accounts were hacked and deleted and he is having issues getting them back? I want to believe him, but it's real convenient it happened the day everyone realized he was not on The Challenge.

Just like I can ask you guys not to share stuff over here, but I know that be extremely naive of me to think everyone will listen. But doesn't stop me from asking. And I really appreciate when you guys try to help me out with that. I also understand that you're paying money for something, you don't want just anyone and everyone to get it. That's totally fair, but if someone wants to share one thing they heard behind a paywall, I don't think it's the same as exposing any and everything on it. But also as someone who does all this for free, 1 am not going to try to hurt anyone's coins by just giving all their hard work for free.

They should earn their fair pay for providing actual content and hard work. So I understand why creators want to keep things only for paying customers. And customers want to show their loyalty by protecting that. Now, I am not an asshole (mainly), so if someone specifically asks me not to share certain content, I won't share it. Just a respect thing. If I understand the concerns of not posting what someone said, I won't post it. But I do think people gatekeep paywall stuff to extremes at times, especially fans. Brit I totally understand why she doesn't want her info shared because it may scare people away from speaking freely. And she's giving us what others aren't, so pay her for her work.

No one wants her to lose guests or money, so of course I will respect that. I just think in general people shouldn't act like anything publicly said on the internet is suddenly null and void because it's behind a paywall. Anything you actually don't want the internet, don't put it on the internet. And I also agree about hearing what was said on a patreon would make me more tempted to subscribe, especially me specifically because I know context matters. Someone reporting what someone said isn't the same as seeing it because words can be misinterpreted if you don't know how and why they were said. This will likely be a long thread anon, because I have a lot to say about this topic. First, I want to say I agree with you completely. Just because something is behind a paywall, doesn't make it private. In my opinion, anything readily available on the internet is fair game. Paywall does not change that. It's still being publicly shared, just some people pay for the content.

Now I know that's a little hypocritical from me because sometimes I ask you guys not to share stuff I say over here all over the internet. However, I don't do that to really gatekeep info as much as it is because I don't want bb midnight secret to become a thing outside of this place. When things become bigger, they invite more attention. More attention = more problems. Like I said the other day, I know bbsky has become a safe space for many people. I already feel bad that this stuff has created some chaos and disruption. If this thing becomes too discussed across the internet, it invites more people who want to just create chaos and havoc. I try to keep this stuff contained not because I care about protecting info, but care about protecting this bbsky space.

All the stuff | share over here is stuff anyone can find because it has been publicly shared on the internet. Anytime I get actual exclusive info, I don't share unless someone tells me to share. It's usually info given as a "in case this becomes public, I just want you to have this as proof to share later." And that's what I do, keep to myself. Many subs want the feeling of exclusivity. A few, I think are just really protective of their favs and don't want it shared because worried about the repercussions of those actions. That's kind of them. However, their person had to know that by sharing anything publicly, they risk it moving beyond the paywall.
