Winter's Brown Hare Note unnoticed detail rearranges. Alert to dark shadows circling Above. My nose for sharp toothed stink twitches on this ground. I munch sweetness. Move. At a flicker of difference in light and dark. I know the smell of blood as my limp bairn lifted into the Bright, or neck snapped by swift teeth into the wood. if Above cicles I hide in the Dense. We look after ouselves. When hot stink comes I never bounce same way twice. Life is tense. Snatch sweet green when I can. My skin thrums. My next words are not true to my space.
