Census: Texas led U.S. states in population growth in 2025 Texas’ population grew at a slower pace in 2025 than in previous years, according to new federal data. Nearly 32 million people now live in the state.

via @TexasDemography: @uscensusbureau State-to-State Migration Data: Around 612K people moved to Texas while 478K left for other states in 2023, ranking TX 1st in net gain. TX saw the most net inflows from California, Florida, & New York and net outflows to Colorado, North Carolina & Indiana.
