Between two choices, I'd prefer to see an impersonator embody the energy and spirit of Michael by turning to magic dust and dancing than sit through 2 hours of someone pretending to be him on stage in the west-end, but everyone has their own preferences.

I've seen the show 9 times over the last decade, including the new version of the show which opened in August this year. I've never noticed dancers not being in sync.

The hologram of Earnest impersonating Michael I think works for what they are trying to convey at that moment.

Michael's last performance in the UK on this date 18 years ago.

Writing 18 years seems strange as it still feels so recent.

How amazing he looked. Everyone in the building was there for him. Watching fan footage gives a great perspective on how much love there was for him that night.
