I forgot to take pictures of some of the cards I sent this year, but here is the last 2024 holiday card I painted.
I took a picture of this tiny bird in Pacifica, CA along the beach. This may be my favorite watercolor this year.

Here is another 2024 holiday card of the Spotted Towhee I "spotted" at Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs, CO.

I do really like my bird paintings. Also included is the source picture I took.
Here is another 2024 holiday card I watercolored.
This one was a feeding pair with the female I posted earlier. I like painting cardinals because they have such interesting colors beyond the red.
Here is another holiday card I sent out this year. The source was a female cardinal I took a picture of, but she had a different background.
I love painting cardinals and I'm happy with this result.
Another holiday card for 2024. This was the same Abert's Squirrel seen at Bandolier National Monument, New Mexico.
I added the nut because the ground was boring otherwise.

Each Christmas I paint cards and send them out. Some people get them every year, and others are randomly surprised instead of getting a normal card.
I try to use pictures I take with my phone as the source.
