It's honestly pretty crazy how much all this price increase garbage is completely sucking the fun out of the Switch 2's launch period.

It's getting to the point where I'm actually questioning my entire gaming hobby as a whole. I just cannot justify these prices at this point in my life.

The (assumed placeholder) Switch 2 boxart for EA Sports Madden NFL 26. Under the game's logo is a giant American football that takes up the entire box art space. Under the football is the game-key card disclaimer banner.

I feel pretty similar about this whole game key card situation. I'm not buying these because there's so few benefits to them.

So instead of a guaranteed sale from someone like me, now there's no rush or incentive to purchase some games. I'll just throw them on my eShop wishlist and wait for a sale.

They should still be making the original version for the Switch 1 the primary version. There's 150 million Switch 1's out there and it's a little ridiculous to want them to only focus on the new system.

The Switch 2 version should be BETTER, but it shouldn't leave the Switch 1 version in the dust.

DKC2 is great and all, but man...we really gotta pull off the nostalgia goggles on some of these lists. Lol

Tropical Freeze is WAY better than the SNES games, and I grew up with the SNES games.

(2/2) Xbox started this generation off so strong in my opinion and I was happy to go to bat for them, but they've just made fuck-up after fuck-up and I've lost pretty much all faith in them as a brand at this point.

The last round of layoffs and game cancellations were too much for me. I'm out ✌️

(1/2) I've been debating it for a few months now, but I've decided that I'm gonna pull the trigger and sell the Xbox. Sure, there's a handful of games I'll miss having, but I hardly ever play them at this point so whatever.

Most things I want are on PC and I'll go get a Blu-Ray player for cheap.

My Dad recently told me that New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe is now his favorite Mario game ever and I just think that's neat.

It's truly eating me up that we'll never see the vision that teams like Rare and The Initiative had for their games like Everwild and the Perfect Dark reboot. I get that development on both of those projects was taking a long time, but to just shut them down. Microsoft shouldn't be allowed to do it.

When SEGA pulled the plug on the Dreamcast, we saw them bring a lot of titles they had in development to other platforms. SEGA was just a video games company after all, so to survive, they had to put their products elsewhere.

Microsoft however, doesn't need their games. So they put them down.

If I didn't use my Series X as a Blu-ray player and for essential backwards compatible games that aren't available elsewhere, there's no way I'd still have it.

Xbox has run their brand into the ground and burned all goodwill.
