In Truckee this week, few miles from Frog Lake. Relentless snow past 24 hours. Couldn’t even leave the house today as no visibility w/ the snow/wind combo. Really hope there’s some good news on this.

I was so so cold there all week. Was rough outside. Stay in Mex. I usually want more NYC, but today was very happy to be back in my Mediterranean climate.

Also some swirling rumors about a Warfield show tomorrow night.

I selfishly love listening to this show. It’s the night I was born. First ever Scarlet. First ever Cassidy. And first night they used the full wall of sound.

I think about this a lot. House I grew up in Louisville was much bigger then what I’m raising my kids in here in CA. But after living in a San Francisco 700 sq ft apt for 15 years…our house in Alameda feels enormous. It’s not, but I love it.

Last night I learned the bench calls Adrian Wooley: “Woo”. My kids wouldn’t stop with the “Let’s go Woo!”. So fun.

I use both. SWA for intra west coast & anything family (companion). United for longer trips. I prefer SWA, better rewards program, better reliability, & I actually like the open seating. Im concerned that may all change in 2026.

Drove down from Bloomington for that one. My dad would take me to Louisville Catbird basketball games @ “the gardens” as a kid, so I knew there would be no gardens or gazebos 🤣

10/6 I was walking between the 100/200’s. A glowstick hit me (nbd) & I picked it up, tossed it in the air. Immediately my right arm forcibly was pulled behind my back by security- “you’re outta here!!”. Thought I was gone. Instead I was deposited to the lawn. He left, I walked back to my seat 🤣

Haha. Yep that’s right there too (& my directional marker for when I get off the subway). I’ll be in NYC 3x before end of this year. I’ll give you the building tour. With all the news studios, it’s pretty cool.

Might also have a little to do with b2b 4 day music festivals in Louisville past 3 weeks. Lotta people went to those, and Goose is competing for those dollars…in this economy. Either way it’s such an awesome venue. Saw my 1st Phish show there!! Have a blast!!
