today, on 17dec, the international day against violence towards sex workers, police in barcelona did a raid "against human trafficking" on a migrant working class neighbourhood and arrested 5 people. 4 of them are sex workers, one of which is an activist for sex workers' rights, housing rights, and pollitically organised in the neighbourhood, and 1 employee from a bar who tried to help them. right now they're in jail, and there's been a demo today at 18h and there will be another one tomorrow at 9h at the police station where they're being held. white feminist anti sex work speech is very strong in spain, and this is such a clear exhibition of how the "anti trafficking"/"anti sex work" politics work: through punishing. and the ones who receive the strongest violence in their bodies are, as always, the migrant, bipoc, working class people

Yesterday on International Day to End Violence Against Sex workers 5 people were arrested in Spain, 4 were sex workers and 1 was a staff member of a bar.

These arrests were made under the guise of anti-trafficking efforts, despite no proof that trafficking occurred!

😘 Here is mine, empty. Of course I will need to find bigger ones for my corsets..I have about 10 of these so far...probably need more 🤦🏼‍♀️

I travel often so I have mine in bags, I'm currently in the process of switching from ziplock to laundry bags. So I can just throw in laundry when needed. My new bags have loops on them and I have them hung on the multi-pants hangers, 2 per bar, unzipping from each side. I can't wait to finish!
