More like: Trump is bored of peace.

You don't start a war unless you know what you want to get for all the blood you're going to spill.
All Trump wants is headlines and he's already spilling American blood to get them.
The American people are going to pay the full cost of this war and get nothing they want from it. Nothing.

DOJ has come to mean the Department of Obstruction of Justice.

People do what you pay them to do.
You pay corporate executives to make stock prices go up, not to make better products.
You pay politicians to get re-elected, not to govern well.
You pay reporters to get a bigger audience, not to tell the truth.

How about a law that says a state of emergency declared by the President only lasts until Congress can call an emergency session to confirm it? 48 hours should be long enough in a real emergency. When Japan attacked Pearl Harbor, Congress met the next day and declared war before lunch.

Congressmen get a fine salary, insider trading tips, free healthcare, and all kinds of other perks for doing nothing.
And almost all of them are in safe districts where their re-election is all but guaranteed.

I'm surprised Trump didn't give Kash Patel a Congressional Medal of Freedom for flying to the Olympics on a taxypayer-funded private jet to help American win the gold medal in men's hockey.

Trump has been declaring that America is in a constant state of emergency for the past year. Funny how he couldn't be bothered explaining these critical national emergencies when he reported on the state of the union yesterday. Bit of an omission there, Donnie.

When the Founding Fathers wrote "…give Information of the State of the Union, and recommend to [Congress's] Consideration such Measures as [the President" shall judge necessary and expedient," they didn't mean the fact-free, self-aggrandizing, steaming pile of bullshit Trump spewed out yesterday.

If God wants your mega-church pastor to have a private jet, why doesn't he just reach down and give him one for free. Why do you have to give your hard-earned money to the pastor so he can buy one? Does God want you to be poor?

"Sorry, Donnie, but I cant come to your State of the Union speech because I have to stay home and wash my hair" is not what the US Olympic women's hockey team said, but that's for damn sure what they meant.

We need a constitutional amendment that says that all American citizens have a right to vote.
It is up to the states to institute election procedures that do not disenfranchise anyone.
Any restriction that bars any citizen from voting should be illegal.
No excuses justify taking this right away.

Listening to a video about Canada's latest trade move and thought, "This doesn't sound right. It's AI slop." Took some drilling down to find the disclaimer that it was created "for entertainment and comment". We should require AI disclaimers to be displayed at the beginning of videos.

The only question left by the Supreme Court decision on tariffs is:
What the fuck is wrong with Thomas, Alito, and Kavenaugh?
The Constitution could not say more clearly that only Congress has the power to impose taxes.
Can't those three justices umderstand a simple, direct English sentence?

The Supreme Court ruled that Trump's "Liberation Day" tariffs are unconstitutional because they obviously are.
If Trump tries to impose any other tariffs, Congress needs to impeach (and convict) him forthwith.
If a President is permitted to disregard the Constitution then America is done for.

If our current corrupt Supreme Court Justices had been around in 1776 writing America's constitution, they would have established a hereditary monarchy and today we'd think it normal to be ruled by a king with absolute immunity who'd routinely deploy armed troops in our streets to oppress us.

Trump and his cronies don't hate all the amendments. They're awful fond of taking the 5th.

The proof of citizenship for American-born citizens is a birth certificate.
For naturalized citizens, it's a Certificate of Naturalization.
I'll bet more immigrants than American-born citizens keep their documentation on hand.
The SAVE Act might let more immigrants vote than American-born citizens.

What do all the billionaires in Trump's cabinet know about affordability?
They know that they can afford whatever the hell they want.
And in their minds, that's all they care to know.

Trump thinks he can push Canada around because it has a small economy while Russia is big and powerful nation.
Nope. They both have the same size economy (a GDP of about $2.2 trillion).
The difference is that the Russian economy is in a downward spiral while Canada's is healthy and growing.
